Im Dreaming of a Wet Christmas
Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year to one and all! This is the season to be jolly and we are jolly in the midst of bathing in the very feeling-ful monsoon rains. [metaphorically] This christmas has been a spiritually and emotionally satiated one.
First and most importantly, this year we didnt have a christmas tree, away with all the commercial erosion of the original christmas. Instead we chose to have christmas candles , not only because there's an alliterative ring to it but also because it was more spiritually gratifying. (and easier to clean up too.)
This year i had the most number of christmas dinners to go to since like forever. But who's complaining? It just means more turkeys, more ham, more log cake and more presents! First there was the emo dinner at Bryan's place where it was most probably our last reunion/gathering till next year (tentatively) but we all know we wont be able to shake off those guys for like ever! The dinner was delectably delicious and the movie after that [The Holiday] was unexplainably hollywood-ish but still oh so holiday-ish. It gave all ofus ther new found confidence and latent stamina to continue in the game we all play. Oh there was present exchanging which was uber fun. Thank you Jarren for that chic looking United Colours of Ben.... key bag.
Then there was the usual family dinners after mass on Christmas night. First time in a long time i wore a long sleeve shirt but they stilll thought the older brother was the younger one. But im fine with that cos we all know the younger brother is the cuter one. =P I got new Nikes!!!!Would show it you but cant find the picture so you'll just have to ask me out to see it!
Then there's mark's party tonight which im sure will be a blast.
Oh and remember guys, class dinner at White Dog Cafe Vivocity then class movie Death Note 2 oso. Yay! Will be uber fun , and ex but well..
Got the call from vj already. Remeses is my group and the sub grp's rascal. What a name right? I know. But well better than Jarren's THEY. As in that's the sub grp name.cool huh.. wunder what rj has in store for them. But then again, dont waste time lar hor.. maybe they name grps after like the elements in the period table or someting. Go hydrogen, go! or Helium, Helium all the way!
See you people around.
love ya'll

Oh Holy Days
Before i begin blogpost proper, i would just like to officially, cordially invite all members of the uber cool, uber fantastic 4F to the movie premier of Death Note 2 on the 28th Dec 2006. Just simply present your uber stylish official limited edition 4F class tee and receive a complimentary Death Note 2 ticket*. [* Please pass a ten dollar note to the cashier too.] For more details, wait for your freindly friend Desmond to sms you. For if any unintended reason you do not receive a friendly text msg please give your friendly friend a call/sms [sms preferred] and he'll kindly fill you in the details.
Now that that is done, we'll move on. These holidays were superbly exciting and tremendously fulfilling.[no i didnt get a job nor volunteered at the old folks' home] First on my HolyDays list was PSLTC. It was so cool crashing the camp and staying over for the last time in school before being shamelessly and unglamly emo/cobe. (to find out what cobe means read previous post) [to find out what emo is, where have you been? Mars? No, Pluto. Sobs.] Kudos to the 15-year-olds and the 14-year-olds for the camp. But whoever said that 14 was the new 15, is/was/forever-will-be, seriously disturbed. I'll miss you, Mr B Bear.
Next up in my HolyDays list (Not LifeList, you Ellen diehards.) was the higly anticipated shopping spree in KL with a couple of peeps that are not 14/15 year olds but sometimes get a little disillusioned. "You think you 14/15 ah?" Or occasionally get a little too hopeful. "If only you were 14/15." That aside, i bought a grand total of 8 tees, not including those bought as gifts. Most people seem to think that that's an amazing fact, but im not most people. The days spent in the Singaporean owned serviced apartment in KL and the train ride back [with not exactly the strictest of departure checkpoints, to say the least] will be something i'll never cease to emo about with Jarren, Jiehao, John, Bryan and Mr Oh. F-O-S!
When i came back, it was time to go to Bintan. The sea view was splendid, the pool was chic (except for the occasional kodomo dragons swimming in it which actually added to the pool's exotic quotient) and the private bungalow (im not sure if it meets the requirement for bungalow but heck.) was a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of life in good ol singapore. Didnt do nothing but swimming and eating. I got quite a pleasant tan, though.
Speaking of tans (spot the pun?), i went to spend a couple of exotic days at Mawai camp [which was also another break from civilization] where LTC is always held since like forever [dont take my word for it]. The rain was relentless as we climbed the mountain which i do not know the name of because i renounced memorizing names of mountains after cramming which two plates made what mountain [nazca and s.america for Andes Mountains by the way] after the geog core exams. Forget singing in the rain. Amateur. We were climbing in the rain and it was rejuvenating-ly refreshing. Jerric and genie were cute and so was the alleged relationship between the two NTU peeps, of which one is uncle steven and the other is jac/jack, i have no idea. The camp was deliciously free becaue the kind Lisa jie "invited us out of goodwill" and we will forever and ever be "morally indebted to her". And thanks to the godson of wendy sukiyaki who suddenly got casted in LOTR, lisa jie is calling us to go for the SEC3 camp with our school next year! If that's not cool, even the coolnerd aint cool. Not only do we not have to pay, we get paid as instructors! Green shirt, here i come. Oh and the free tan! [Spot the pun!]
After that was done, it was time to once again plunge into the realms of the concrete jungle. I went to watch a couple of movies with a couple of people this time. Trust the Man was a romantic comedy which is NC16 so you can imagine that it's kinda sexed up. Half the time we didnt understand the joke. But then again, maybe it's just me.
Today i watched Dejavu with Bobby and Rahul, unlikely combination but well.. There was suppose to be more people but some had dentals to go to and others had other more spiritually inspired activities to engage in so that left only us. Some may say Deja vu is a cheesy time travel movie but i think it's a chic, deep, introspective blockbuster that is a hybrid between a time travel show and a 2-hour long CSI episode. Cool. After the show Bobby tried to explain the intricacies of time travel [whoever would have guessed he's an astro-physics enthusiast?] and i blanked out. That was chang yang's territory. Then Rahul left for street soccer and Bobby followed me to get a present for Bryan's Christmas Party. Exactly $15. Yeah! I then followed Bobby to some Teddy Bear shop at Esplanade in search of some teddy his friend has from Canada (the bear, not friend) When they earnestly asked who the bear was for, Bobby said myself and she burst into a chuckle. She probably thought we were queer. Do the math.
Still learning to use beta.
Love ya'll.

The Way of The SUMO
Step one is to embrace Emo-ness.
Yupps emoness 'cos only when you get closure can you follow the Way of The SUMO.
[Interuption: Was just sms-ing with Bobby and he said when people are SUMO-ing, tell them to COBE! - Come On Be Emo! Sighs, Bobby is just so misunderstood. Like everyone else.]
Okayys so today it's gonna be an emo post. Just finished PLTC 06. Was uber cool. It's really weird in a great kind of way to see the sec 3s get their blackshirts. Even though some didnt really get it, we all know (and hope) that they know that you dont always have to be a black shirt to be a black shirt.
Like someone always say,
It's not WHAT you wear, but WHO wears it.
The sec 2s were cool too. See lots of potential. Just hope that they stay that way and stay with PSB. Especially the good ones. The 14-yer-olds were pretty impressive. I think they'll do well being facils. At least i can spot a few.
Sighs last nite was so emo! We were like all squeezing on the small Monitors' Council sofa/bed, at like 4 in the morning. Oh and night walk was fun. But tiring. There was like me, xuanyi, renan, chin boon and there was one nmore i think.Sorry cant remember.. it was 4 in the morning! Woke up with a back and neck ache to fetch bryan from the airport. At 6! [as in woke up at six in the morning, clocking 2 hours of sleep. But i paid back already -slept the whole day today]
So after the camp, in true Singaporean fashion, we became Peer Support Mentors! (unofficially lah!) Cos got Senior already mah, so now must Mentor.
Sighs im so gonna miss the smell of the room.
And Mr Broadrick Bear! What would i have done without him?
Anyways, im doing my pae thingy thing tong tmr. I decided to do science in vj. Math, econs, lit and PHYSICS! i dont believe myself either. Tuition, tuition lor.
Tomorrow ill be off to KL with lubly emo peeps to shop, shop and shop! Wont be around till sometime next week. I HAVE TO FIND MY NIKES!
I'll miss Mr Broadrick Bear.
