Yesterday night was awesome! It was the post-SLI party at my place. And that explains why it was super fun.
John was like the first to arrive. And he did it when i was having Piano Lesson! I had to excuse myself to go bring him in. But of course, being as kind as she always is, my teacher didnt mind. Then i dumped john in my room to do A math while i continued with my piano lesson.
The bbq started at around 7. Even though it was suppose to start at 6! But neverminds. It was like a super last minute thingy so i had to like frantically buy supplies from the minimart. Thank god for the minimart. Most of the Organising Comm came. Except for the prefects, only calvin, jinjian and jabez from PB came. (Did i miss out any?)
And the red shirts were so dissappointing! 5 were suppose to come but only 2 turned up. The senior-junior ratio was super unbalanced. So the unfortunate Kevin and Matthias got bullied.
Okay, maybe not matthias. Mostly Kevin.
So then we started bbq-ing the stuff i "cheapskatedly" bought from bbq wholesale centre. Thanks to JT, who kindly lent me his iPod speakers, we were bbq-ing to the sounds of emo songs like Chariot and upbeat tunes like Superstar. Eh-yo! eh-yo! eh-yo! And then we took group photos and sang the PSB song. Okay, maybe not "we" were singing (cuz it's a new song and most of them werent fron PSB). But, soon everyone was like "and you neveeeeeer stand alone!"
Ans then we all went up to my room and terrorised my mini hi-fi. We were like blasting all the 90s songs, like Titanic (jarren and george were happily doing choreo for that..*shivers*) and How do i live without you. Passe, yes, but emo. We were like screaming to the top of our voices. It's a miracle no neighbour complained.
Last night was truely a night to remember. One of the last gatherings we were gonna have. Soon in about 9 months, we would all go our separate ways and maybe never to cross paths again. But we all dwelled in emo-ness with delight!
We should really call ourselves something. I proposed "firstgen_slioc". But no one responded. Oh well. Next time then!
