[It doesn't matter if you're rich or poor]
I was doing research on the debt crisis for Rmunc and something just come to my mind.
Can poverty ever be made history?
20% of the world hold 83% of the world's wealth while the poorest 20% receive only 1.4% of the total income. But is this really shocking? Aren't people rich because other people are poor? Is this ideal world of everyone being rich achievable? Or is it merely an impossible dream bourne of an idealist?
What defines rich? Will the rich still be rich should the poor start to improve economically? What would money be worth if everyone has it? What would a million dollars be worth if every Tom, Dick and Harry has a couple of millions sitting in their bank?
In the rich's quest to be richer, they are trampling on the poor, pushing them further and further into poverty. Such is reality. You either get it or you don't. You're either rich or you're poor. You're either clever or you're not. Because if you are, others are not. Because if you are not, others are. Life is not communist. Life is not socialist. Life is not fair.
And i lost $20 today. Just couldn't find it anymore. And i'm pretty sure i haven't spent it yet. Shucks. Life is unfair.
