Fine. Maybe today was not such a horrible, antagonizing day. But it sure was better than any roller-coaster i've ever chanced upon.
Yesterday, while i was online, diligently doing my social studies project (shame on you if you havent done yours! ha has..), Fadhil called me, told me about sean's inability (to help out in school, that is.. what were u thinking??), his seemingly unforunate plight and subsequently persuaded me to join him in the preperation of the Choir "booth" for the Sec 1 CCA Display on Friday. Dreadful Friday (read on).
So on that fateful day (actually, today..), i got up early at the break of dawn (okay, maybe not that early..) and made my way to school half-awake. My daddy was in a really positive mood today, so he brought me to school. Brought. Not fetch. I had to return home myself. Anyways, back to the story. So, due to that reason, i was an hour early. So i went to 'chill' with the prefects, who so happens were taking the General Aptitude Proficiency (GAP) Test. My favourite question: Who was the principal of Victoria School in 1930? Despite their, erm... unforgiving questions (which, by-the-way, had many parts to a question..), they were very friendly and welcoming to me in that one hour i was in their company. Cool dudes.
Then it was time to get on with work. So i went to the music room, meeting fadhil and Ian on the way. They brought up age old pictures (oldest: 14 years old) from Ms Lau's table. Lesson learnt : VS Choir was founded in Aug 1991. (Prefects, take note. I assure you next year this would be a question in your GAP Test.) So we started doing up the display boards. Named all four (but there was one that we havent got yet): OuRhapsody, Concert Series: Rhapsody, Cultural eXchanges and Pieces of Us (a collage of the age old photos). Ms lau treated us root beer. One word: Yay. Then she treated us the Chicken Foldover from macs. Two words: Yay Yay.
So then we went to do a write up on VS Choir and Mr Kwei to put on the board. Hung up banners too. Ian left for science centre. Fadhil and i started screaming in the room (the good 'ol VS Choir way) and i learnt Jamaican Farewell. Oh and good news! Just realised i can reach the E above middle C!! In real voice! Ofcourse with the straining and all. But still, it is an achievement. (Shut up tenors. I know u can reach much higher.)
Got an sms from qianling. Called her back. She's the chairman of the PSB in RGS. How i know her? Met her at Learning Lab. She asked if our school's PSB was interested in organizing the Peer leading Convention with RGS. I'm sorry but i broke into a gibberish. Serious gibberish. Over the moon, i guess. (Not because of the identity of the caller but the content of the call!! Please DO NOT BE A JIA WEI.) I was like DUH! OFCOURSE WE WANNA ORGANIZE IT WITH THEM!! The convention is like the christmas of all PSB activities. Get it?
(But still, nothing is confirmed.)
Went downstairs to tell Bryan (VSPSB's chairman). He 'jumped for joy'. No further comments. But i do understand where he is coming from.
Bad things always happen after good ones. When i went to the staff room to find fadhil, the mummy of all horrors! (courtesy of mr cheo.) I was told that the choir was to perform on friday. I trembled. I sensed the gravitiy of the situation. And i was not a wee bit good. For the past few practices, we were doing mainly voice class (not being able to recover from the trauma that we were not going to have Rhapsody VIII) and the choir has just plunged into the thought of two weeks choir-free vacation. What is there to say? Horrors.

I'm tired of this long post. Short cuts now! Went to meet family at ECP for dinner. Smart aleckness earned me a brief shower of rain. Read : CAUGHT IN RAIN DUE TO BEING OVERLY SMART. NOT FAIR. Had dinner. Got home. Bathed. Blogged. The End. phew!
